An Aliso Viejo man is dead after he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving on Ortega Highway in Lake Elsinore Saturday, according to the Riverside County coroner's office.
Jammie Lavine, 22, died Saturday at 11:25 a.m. at the scene of the crash on a dirt hillside on Ortega Highway, approximately 1.5 miles west of Grand Avenue.
According to the coroner's office, Lavine lost control, struck the guard rail, and fell approximately 100 feet to the dirt hillside below the road. Lavine was wearing a helmet.
