Two suspects have been charged, in connection with the stabbing death of 18-year-old Jarrell Fountain.

The teen's body was found about 6:30 a.m. in the 300 block of First Street by the homeowner.

The body was in the yard of the home, which is about a half block from Franklin Elementary School.

On Saturday, Michael Alexander and Floyd Alexander were charged with the crime. Michael Alexander faces two counts of First Degree Murder. Floyd Alexander faces on count of felony murder. Bail for both is set at $1,500,000.

Police think the victim was stabbed in the street near the school, and was able to run or walk to the spot where he was found dead. Police Captain Don Sax isn't sure when the stabbing took place, but neighbors say there was a fight near the school about 9 p.m. Thursday. However, neighbors said police broke up the fight.

Fountain recently became a father and his grandmother, Ann Johnson, said he was a good child, and had a job. She said he often did work for her at her home and never left a job undone. Police do not have a motive for the crime, but one of Fountain's aunts said she had been told that Jarrell had been feuding with someone.
