Janesville police are looking for two men wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 30-year-old man killed in his vehicle on Friday night as he was followed by two men on motorcycles.

According to a police news release, Samuel Aegerter, of Janesville, exchanged words with two men on motorcycles at a stoplight on West Milwaukee Street at the Five Points intersection at about 11:45 p.m. The two motorcyclists followed him.

Police said one of the motorcyclists fired multiple rounds from a handgun into the vehicle, hitting Aegerter in the neck. He died at a local hospital.

Authorities are seeking two men between the ages of 30 and 40 years old with shaved heads, who are operating motorcycles with loud pipes.
Police said that they're also looking for witnesses to the incident.

"We've been told that there was a very light or white car in the same turn lane behind the motorcyclists when that happened," said Dan Davis, deputy chief of the Janesville police.

Authorities said that anyone with information can call Janesville Crimestoppers at 608-756-3636.
