A 24-year-old Arlington man died early Tuesday after the motorcycle he was riding collided with an SUV in Grand Prairie, according to police.
Shane Zen was pronounced dead at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas at 7 a.m. Tuesday. Police say he was not wearing a helmet when he crashed into a 2010 Audi SUV.
The driver of the Audi, Daniel Ramirez, 29, of Dallas, was not injured in the 6:30 a.m. crash.
According to police, Zen was riding his 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle east on Main Street, just west of downtown, when he collided with the westbound SUV that was turning south onto SW 14th St., Grand Prairie police said in a news release Tuesday.
This is the 7th traffic fatality in Grand Prairie this year.
