Amy Elizabeth Kosilla, 23, a lifelong area resident, died suddenly on Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Fishkill from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born on July 11, 1986 in North Tarrytown, she was the beloved daughter of Neil and Michelle Farias Kosilla of Fishkill. Amy was a 2004 graduate of John Jay High School. She was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill and a former member of the Wiccopee Fire Company. She had been employed as an administrative assistant for Luna Management in Walden.
In addition to her parents, Amy is survived by her sisters, Jessica and Lisa Kosilla of Fishkill; her nephew, Dylan Ireland; her maternal grandmother, Edith Farias of Fishkill; her boyfriend, Glenn Kramer of Wappingers Falls; several aunts and uncles, and many cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:15 a.m. at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 100 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
