Marcie Reeg, 25, of Wisner died Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
Marcie Leah Reeg was born Feb. 22, 1985, in Wayne to Jerry and Katherine (Peterson) Reeg. She attended Wayne Elementary School through the fourth grade. After moving to West Point, she attended West Point Public Schools and graduated from West Point High School in 2003. She had lived in Omaha and West Point and was currently residing in Wisner.
She worked for Goldenrod Hills Community Action Services in Wisner and Braun Research in Stanton.
Survivors include: her son, Davon Dreager; her mother, Kathy Peterson of Carroll; two sisters, Kristine Bowers of Oklahoma City and Amanda Reeg of Omaha; a brother, Jeremy Reeg of Wayne; her stepmother, Robbi Reeg of Oklahoma City; her stepfather, Scott Lackas of Stanton; grandparents, John and Norma Peterson of Carroll and Mel and Sandy Bishop of Oklahoma City; and special friend, Tate Heller of Wisner.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to service time Thursday, all at the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne at a later date.
