Jeremy Clay Lummus, 25, of Dickinson, left his earthly world very early in life into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 14, 2010.

Born and raised in Texas City, Texas, he is survived by his father and step-mother, Daryl and Debbie Lummus, of Dickinson; mother and step-father, Jeanette and Jimmy Grigg, of Santa Fe, Texas; sisters, Stephanie Lummus of Texas City and Lauren Lummus Riehl of North Carolina; step-brother Kaleb Grigg of Santa Fe, TX; grandparents, Johnny and Jennie Lummus of Santa Fe; and grandmother, Jeanette Glass of La Marque, Texas; aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Gerald Montieth, Linda Hill and Suzy Lummus; cousins: Erin and Ann Lummus, Morgan, Megan, and Dwight Hill, and Bailey Thomas; numerous other relatives and many, many friends.

Jeremy attended Texas City High School and was a graduate of the Seaborn Academy. He loved the outdoors and music. Avid fisherman of both fresh and saltwater, hunter of wild game birds in and around Moses Lake, and this past winter was very proud of the deer he shot in West, Texas. Jeremy surrounded himself with a variety of music, everything from rap, country, R&B, and alternative rock, while hanging out with family and friends.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, March 18, at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Everyone will sadly miss, but will never forget, Jeremy's twinkle of light that shined in his eyes during happiness and laughter. May your soul find rest and peace high on the mountain in the heavens above us.
