The two-day long search for a missing 13-year-old has a sad ending.

Search crews found the body of Seth Carnahan Monday afternoon in Elkhorn Creek, near Georgetown.

Carnahan had been missing since Saturday, when officials say he and 15-year-old Caleb Hemmerline fell off Great Crossings Dam while trying to cross it.

Hemmerline was able to make it to shore, but Carnahan went under the water and never resurfaced.

Officials say Carnahan's body was found about 100 yards upstream from the Robertson Dam area on Elkhorn Creek.

At least eight different boats were in the water looking for Carnahan. Ten different agencies from across the state helped in the search.

Harmony Christian Church in Georgetown will be open Monday night for friends who may need help dealing with Carnahan's death.

A licensed counselor will be at the church, which will stay open until 10 Monday night.

The youth pastor at the church says Carnahan's death has been especially difficult for the youth at their church.
