Adam Paul, 27, Pilltown Road, Jenner Township, died peacefully May 8, 2010, at his home. Born May 1, 1983, in Windber, son of Paul "Foss" and Sally (Villa) Deist. Preceded in death by grandmother, Alta (Lohr) Deist; grandfather, Dewey "Bones" Villa; and uncles, James Deist and Clay "Dude" Villa. Survived by father, with whom he resided; mother, Sally, married to Jeffrey Kimmick, Jenner Township; grandmother, Dorothy Villa-Hawkins, Johnstown; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Attended Jennerstown United Methodist Church. A 2001 graduate of North Star High School, where he played football and continued to support the program. Attended Allegany Community College, Somerset. Farm and game manager for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. President of Dark Shade Beagle Club and member of Turkeyfoot Beagle Club, Jerome Sportsmen, Ferndale Sportsmen and Indiana County Coon Hunters. Owned turn left beagles, competed in diesel truck pulling and past president of Pheasant Forever. An avid Steelers, Penguins and NASCAR fan. Viewing from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Pastor Michael A. Dunlap officiating.
