Troy W. Strelow, age 32 years, of Marion died of a sudden medical condition on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at his home.

Troy William Strelow was born at Shawano Hospital on Sept. 6, 1977 to Arthur and Norine (Knope) Strelow, Jr. He was raised on the family farm in the Town of Larrabee, Waupaca County, and graduated from Marion High School in 1996.

Troy went on to technical college in Wisconsin Rapids for Automobile Technician. After graduation he started working as a mechanic with House of Ryan in Green Bay and then he was employed at Dodge Country in Appleton. Troy was currently employed as a Master Technician for Gandrud Chevrolet in Green Bay. Less than a year ago he moved back to Marion and purchased a home that he enjoyed remodeling.

Troy is a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marion. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fixing his friends vehicles, and helping out on the farm. Troy was a kind, super nice guy, who especially liked spending time with his family, friends, and his two cats.

Survivors include: his parents, Art and Norine Strelow of Marion, and his maternal grandmother, Alice Knope of Clintonville. There are three sisters and one brother: Jamie (Raleigh) Moody of San Diego, Calif., Keith (Annette) Strelow of Marion, Tina (Jeffrey) Bonikowske of Crivitz, and Dawn Strelow of Crivitz. There are four nephews, Brandon Strelow, Izin Hahn, Blake and Tyler Bonikowske. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

Troy is preceded in death by a sister, Mary, a nephew, Cole Strelow, his maternal grandfather, William Knope, and his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Eleanor Strelow Sr.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. Deacon Tom Jozwiak will officiate. Burial will be on Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Marion.

Friends may call on Friday from 3 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
