An upscale neighborhood on Staten Island was rocked by a double homicide after police discovered Arthur and Marian Bellucci brutally murdered inside their Annadale home Wednesday evening.

The New York Police Dept. is searching for the couple's 30-year-old, schizophrenic son Eric Bellucci who was last seen boarding a flight to Israel Wednesday afternoon, according to the Staten Island Advance.

Police sources told The Advance that Eric Bellucci is currently the only suspect in the murders of his 61-year-old father and 56-year-old mother.

The slain Staten Island couple was discovered after Vanessa Bellucci asked police to check on her parents because her mother had not shown up for work that day and she had not heard from her parents in at least a day which is rare.

The 25-year-old law student told police that her brother, who had a history of mental illness and was on medication, owned at least three shotguns and a rifle, The New York Post reported.

Joe Ciervo, Marian's brother-in-law, told police that Vanessa had recently moved out of the family's home on 3 Poillon Ave and into his home because she grew fearful of her brother's erratic behavior.

"He was getting strange and delusional. The other night they called an ambulance for him," said Marian's brother-in-law, Joe Ciervo.

Eric Bellucci is a graduate of Williams College and the chief executive officer of the family-owned company CareMates, Inc. which offers nursing and home health care.

His mother Marian was the President, and his sister Vanessa, who was listed as a graduate of Villanova University, is the Vice President.

According to the Staten Island Advance, NYPD officers permanently stationed in Israel for anti-terror operations, and Israeli cops are hunting Eric Bellucci, but no arrests have been made.
