Alfred Moton Jr., a freshmen biology major, was shot and killed by his father, Alfred Moton Sr., in his Pennsauken home Thursday night.

Police were called to the home at 10:30 p.m., responding to a report of an unconscious man in the street. When police arrived, the residence had been set on fire. Two teenage boys, Alfred Moton and his 14-year-old brother, Stephen Moton, were found dead.

The third victim, 16-year old Charles Moton, is currently in critical condition at Cooper University Hospital from receiving a shot in the chest.

Upon arriving on the scene, police walked around to the rear of the house. According to CNN.com, police found Moton Sr. on a sun porch with a gas can and a gun in his hand. When Moton Sr. charged at three officers, they shot and killed him on the scene.

Jason Laughlin, spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor's office, told The Courier Post it appeared that the victims were shot in the house, but two were found on the street after attempting to flee.

Police found Stephen's body, along with a grandparent in the house. The grandfather was not wounded, but was taken to the hospital as well.

Police are still investigating a motive to the murders.

Alfred Moton Jr. and Stephen Moton are currently survived by their mother, who was not home during the indicent, and brother Charles, who is currently in Cooper University Hospital.
