Four people were killed in an automobile crash in a wooded area of the median of Interstate 293 in Manchester, N.H., police said yesterday.

The victims were identified as Jeffrey Levesque, 24, of Londonderry, N.H., Jesse Pena, 25, of Lowell, Chase Abreu, 25, of Pelham, N.H., and Alex DeFreitas, 24, of Londonderry, N.H.

They were all pronounced dead at the scene yesterday afternoon, according to New Hampshire State Police.

The victims were reported missing Saturday night, but the wreckage of the car was not visible from the roadway, police said. The accident remains under investigation.
