An ATV collision in Kitsap County killed a 28-year-old man and injured a 26-year-old woman Sunday afternoon, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The collision took place shortly before 3 p.m.
Kenneth Folden and Samantha Folden, both of Olalla, were traveling northbound on Olympic Drive 5 miles south of Port Orchard when the ATV they were riding lost a wheel. The ATV left the roadway and struck a tree. Both the driver and passenger were ejected, the State Patrol reported in a press release.
The man died at the scene and the woman was taken to Tacoma General Hospital with broken bones and internal injuries, the State Patrol said.
There were no other injuries or vehicles involved in the collision.
