A Lumberton man was killed today when his truck lost control after hitting ice on Monmouth Road in Springfield and crashed into a guardrail and a group of trees, according to a report on PhillyBurbs.com.
State Police said Codi Rocha, 21, attempted to pass another vehicle while on his way to work at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst when he hit the ice around 6 a.m. today, the report said. There were no other reported fatalities after a winter storm coated much of New Jersey in a sheet of ice overnight.
