A rural Seneca man died from injuries sustained in a traffic crash Tuesday morning on West U.S. 6 near the entrance of Morris Country Club.

Dustin J. Bersano, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene by Grundy County Coroner John W. Callahan at 7:10 a.m.

Preliminary reports indicate Bersano was traveling east on U.S. 6 when the head-on collision occurred with a large tow truck owned by Snowdance Towing and Auto Repair of Morris.

The tow truck driver, Stephen Mann, 47, of Morris, was not injured in the accident.

Bersano was believed to be headed to work at the Costco Warehouse Distribution Center in Morris when the accident happened, according to a spokesman for the coroner.

Morris Police and Fire departments, along with Kurtz Ambulance personnel assisted at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by the Grundy County Sheriff's and Coroner's offices.
