Alma E. Luther Isenberg, 60, of 1223 North Road, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at 11 a.m. at her residence.

Mrs. Isenberg was born Aug. 7, 1948 in Chicago, a daughter of Edwin and Alma Morgan Rosenkranz.

She worked in the cafeteria in the Chicago Public School System and at the Dinesol Corporation in Niles as a machine operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Luther.

She is survived by her mother of Chicago; her husband, Donald J. Isenberg Sr., whom she married July 31, 2007; two daughters, Karen Laningham and her husband, Roger of Waukegan, Ill. and Patricia Lange of Chicago; a stepdaughter, Tina Fowler and her husband, Robert of Niles; a son, Thomas Luther of Gary, Ill.; two stepsons, Donald J. Isenberg Jr. and his wife, Donna of Niles and Jeffrey A. Isenberg of Champion; a sister, Rosie Garcia of Chicago; a brother, Bill Hamlin of Schaumburg, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home, 614 Warren Ave. in Niles and Sunday, April 5, from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Northlake Funeral Home, 140 E. North Ave. in Northlake, Ill., where services will be held during visitation.
