Nick Haynes, 31, passed away March 14, 2010 suddenly at his home in Charleston.
Nicholas was born April 24, 1978 in Charleston to Rhonda and Charles O, Haynes. He graduated from Capitol High School in 1996 and attended Alderson Broaddus, Davis & Elkins, and West Virginia State University.
Nick led his life in a Unique and Passionate style. He loved Music, Poetry, Philosophy, Reading and Art. He was a prolific writer and enjoyed making music. Nick was passionate about serving those in need and served in Americorp for several years, working with at risk youth and the underprivileged.
Nick spent time enjoying the outdoors, hiking, rappelling, and rock climbing with his Father. Nick could work a room with his charming smile and dynamic personality. He could always be counted on for engaging and introspective conversation.
Nick spent many hours coaching Soccer and Wrestling. Especially his adopted nephew, Ian Webster and his Team Mates with the St. Albans High School Wrestling Team. Nick spent many hours working with Stonewall Jackson Middle Schools' Soccer Team showing the team the finer points of the game.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Rhonda Holmes Haynes, and Grandpa Jack.
Surviving him is his Father, Charles O. Haynes; Brothers, Charles "C.W." Haynes and his wife Ellen of Rochester, New York, and Gabriel T. Haynes and his Girlfriend Ashley Klemkowsky of Charleston; Wife, Emily Lynn Doubleday; nephews, Charles F. and William G. Haynes both of Rochester, New York; Paternal Grandmother, Ruth Staats of Tornado; Lifelong Friend, Laura Jones, Special Friend Karyn Lefebvre, and Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many Friends.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday March 18, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Young officiating. Burial will follow in Young Cemetery, Sissonville.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
