Nychelle Anne Goad, age 19, of Diamond, Mo., passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, at St. John's Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Nychelle was born Aug. 19, 1991, in Joplin, Mo., to Travis D. and Carol (Chaddock) Goad. She has lived in the Diamond area most of her life.

Nychelle was a 2010 graduate of Diamond High School. She attended Evangel College in Springfield, Mo., where she was a member of the varsity softball team. She was currently enrolled at Crowder College. She was a member of Destiny Church in Webb City, where she was involved in mission work through the church in Brazil and served on a prayer team as well as in the children's department. She was a volunteer with Young Life Ministries and served as an umpire with Webb City youth softball.

Nychelle is survived by her parents, Travis and Carol Goad, of the home; one brother, Noah Goad, of the home; three sisters, Brice Goad and daughter, Capri Moss, of Webb City, Alexandria Goad and Alaina Goad, both of the home; paternal grandparents, Frank and Shirley Mondt, of Joplin; maternal grandparents, Larry and Debbie Nickel, of Joplin; and maternalgrandmother, Martha Chaddock, of Oronogo, Mo. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Nathan Goad; and maternal grandfather, Mike Chaddock.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, at Forest Park Baptist Church. Pastor Gene Bebee, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mason-Woodard Chapel.
