Coffey, Tracy Ann, 50, of Wichita, KS, formerly of Arkansas City, KS, went to her heavenly home March 30, 2010, at the Wesley Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Cremation has been effected. A memorial service has been scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. Pastor Jack Dixon will officiate. Tracy was born February 15, 1960, to Ernest H. and Maxine J. (Rutter) Coffee. She was reared and educated in Arkansas City and graduated from Arkansas City High School. Tracy was employed as a dispatcher with Butler County Kansas Sheriff's Dept. for 21 years. She was also a dispatcher for Valley Center, KS Police Dept. and the Kansas Turnpike Authority Highway Patrol in Wichita, KS. Tracy was an avid animal lover, Billy Ray Cyrus fan, and a lover of life. She enjoyed photography, music, and traveling. She will be remembered for her faith in God, sense of humor, and her smile she liked to share with everyone. Tracy was a member of the Shepherds Grace Church. Survivors include her mother, Maxine Coffey of Arkansas City, KS; brother Monte Coffey and wife Jane of Joplin, MO; many great friends, and her beloved cats Abraham and Hanna. Tracy was preceded in death by her father Ernest Coffey. A memorial has been established with the Country Cats. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
