Russell Zane Anderson, age 17, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away April 3rd 2010 in St. George, Utah from an ATV accident. Russell was born September 4th, 1992 in Murray Utah to Raymond Dee and Vicki Carson Anderson, younger brother to Ryan and Kami. Russell attended Bingham high school, was an all around athlete, and a member of the Bingham basketball team. He also enjoyed weight lifting, loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, shooting his bow and gun, fishing and driving his old blue truck. Russell enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a great leader and example and always seemed to make an impression on others. He was a loving person who always had a smile and brought laughter to every occasion. He was full of life, loved trying new things, and was constantly working to achieve his goals. Throughout elementary school Russell always achieved the presidential fitness award. Russell had big dreams to pursue a career as a fire fighter or a sports therapist. Russell was a very caring person, and was honest in all that he did. Russell was a priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, bore a strong testimony of the teachings, and was preparing to serve a full time mission when he turned 19. Russell touched many lives and inspired all those around him. Survived by his loving parents Raymond and Vicki Anderson, siblings: Ryan (BreAnne) Anderson, and Kami (Brent) Wall, nephew, Kaden and niece, Zoey, grandparents: Ronald and Norvalla Anderson, and Wilmer and Naomi Carson, and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be held Fri., April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the River Oaks 5th Ward Chapel, 8950 So. 1300 West, West Jordan, where friends and family may gather on Thursday evening, April 8th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
