A second person has been arrested Friday in connection with a shooting that left a 14-year-old dead and 15-year-old injured in Jamaica Plain.

Ramon Silvelo-Miles, 20, of Lynn, was arrested and charged with murder, according to Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis and Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel Conley.

Jaewon Martin was shot and killed near 944 Parker St. on May 8. A second teen suffered gunshot wounds to his chest, but he survived.
Silvelo-Miles is the second suspect to be charged in Martin's death: the alleged gunman, Timothy Hearns, was arrested one week ago and is currently held without bail.

Silvelo-Miles is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Roxbury District Court.
