Janet Crouse Johnson, 66, De Pere, Wis., passed away Nov. 8, 2011,surrounded by her family at her home in De Pere.

Janet was born in Baltimore, Md., grew up in Lexington, N.C. and moved to Green Bay, in 1978. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was a Mary Kay Consultant and a legal assistant for Crouse Law Offices.

Her survivors include daughters, Julie Worthy, Jacksonville, Fla.; and Allene Johnson, Minneapolis, Minn.; son, Jeffrey Johnson, Honea Path, S.C.;, and brother, James T. Crouse, Raleigh, N.C. Her six grandchildren are Josey Johnson, Honea Path, S.C.; Joshua, Caleb, Luke and Danielle Worthy, Jacksonville, Fla.; and Ryan Grasse, Green Bay. Other relatives include nieces, Sarah Elisabeth Crouse and Caroline Crouse and nephew, Joshua Crouse, Raleigh; sister-in-law, Edna Crouse, Raleigh; and daughter-in-law, Carrie Janus, Honea Path.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Highland Crest Baptist Church, 1830 South Military Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54304, (920) 494-3647 , on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a brief service at 4:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, in order to help with final expenses, donations may be made to the Janet C. Johnson Memorial Fund at Bank Mutual, 330 N.
