A Beaver Falls High School student died Friday after she was hit by a train near the 15th Street railroad crossing.
Taylor Elizabeth Donnadio, 16, of Beaver Falls, was pronounced dead at about 1 p.m., Beaver County Coroner Teri Tatalovich-Rossi said.
The high school will open at 9:30 a.m. today to offer grief counseling, according to the school district's website.
Beaver Falls police are assisting Norfolk Southern railway police with the investigation. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
