Triple Homicide Suspect Heading Back to MT
It didn't take long for news of the shooting to start swirling around the small town of Lodge Grass, but we're getting more information about what happened in the small farmhouse 10 miles southwest of Lodge Grass.

The FBI says around noon on October 4th, 22-year-old Sheldon Chase used a high-powered rifle to shoot and kill his grandmother, 80-year-old Gloria Goes Ahead Cummins, his cousin, 21-year-old Levon Driftwood, and Levon's husband 20-year-old Ruben Jefferson.

Then, Sheldon disappeared, leaving behind a grief-stricken Lodge Grass. "The community is probably in fear right now and in turmoil because he's still at large and you know, we're a small community and we've been through a lot this past year, and, you know, it's a tough thing to have to go through right now," says Lodge Grass man Darwin Lefthand.

The shooting sent Lodge Grass and surrounding towns into a lockdown that lasted well into the evening. But, that didn't stop friends and family from flocking to the quaint, little house where something unimaginable happened.

According to people around town, Levon and Ruben leave behind two young sons. The FBI says they've put out an alert to law enforcement in surrounding states to be on the look out for Sheldon. If you see him, you're asked to call 911 immediately, he is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
