This is 22-year-old Brian O'Mara of Long Island. Brian Omara died after being hit by a Brooklyn-Bound L train on Saturday morning, a little after 8 a.m., near the Third Avenue station. He was walking on the tracks at the time, for unknown reasons. Brian worked as a financial analyst with a firm called Corporate Insight (LinkedIn) for the past 6 months.

Before working at Corporate Insight, Brian was with The Coaching Mark, where he helped evaluate the tools and content of a web-based service with more than 20,000 users. The service helps student athletes, parents, coaches, and athletic directors communicate and get involved in the athletic programs they are a part of.

Brian was one of four people who died in subway-related accidents this past weekend, including 3 train hits and one man who tumbled down some stairs and died later in the hospital. Check our previous posts on Brooklynian for details.
