A teenage Coudersport girl has been charged as an adult in the murder of Sam Miller.

Fifteen-year-old Kaylynn Benson has been charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with evidence.

Benson, along with 19-year-old Jonothan 'Jeep' Prather and 25-year-old Avery 'Bud' Buckingham are accused of shooting 18-year-old Samuel Miller to death, and then dumping his body in the Prouty Run Creek.

Miller's body was found in the creek last Saturday by a fisherman. An autopsy confirmed that Miller was shot 8 times.

Authorities say Benson aided in the disposal of Miller's body by holding a light while Prather and Buckingham dragged his body to the creek.
Both Prather and Buckingham have been charged with first-degree murder and are currently being held in the Potter County Jail without bail.

Benson is being detained in a juvenile detention facility without bail.

A memorial service for Miller is scheduled for this Tuesday at the Burch Grove Mennonite Church in Port Allegany.
