Mark S. Beneventi, 55, of Trivoli passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012.
He was born on Sept. 30, 1956, to Cleon and Beverly Beneventi. They survive.
He married Patt McLaughlin on Dec. 30, 1980.
Surviving are his wife; one son, James Beneventi of Rapatee; one stepson, Jason Guilliams of Peoria; two grandsons, Michael and Gabriel; two brothers, Michael (Sandra) Beneventi of Peoria and Scott (Marcia) Beneventi of Peoria; one sister, Cheryl (Tommy) Bohannan of Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Mark attended Woodruff High School, graduating in 1974.
He was a carpenter who enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and was thought of to some as a modern day Grizzly Adams. He enjoyed gardening and attending to his dogs. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and family.
Funeral services for Mark will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour before services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
All those who knew and loved Mark know that he is fishing the blue waters of heaven with a big ole smile on his face.
