Julie Amanda Pope of Waynesboro, TN was born November 11, 1985 and is the only child of Rayford and Teresa Kelley Pope of Waynesboro, TN. Grandparents are Sue Pope of Waynesboro, TN and the late Dallas Pope and the late Albert and Irene Kelley. Julie left this life prematurely at only 26 years old on Monday, March 19, 2012.

In addition to her parents and grandmother, she leaves behind her beloved, son, Dallas Gage, who is four years old.

Julie graduated from Wayne County High School, Waynesboro, TN, in 2004, was active in Health Occupations Students Association while in school and formerly worked locally at Subway, Bradley's Restaurant, and Wayne Medical Center. She was a current employee of Volunteer Home Health in Hohenwald, TN.

Julie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a teenager and was currently attending Phillips Chapel Community Church in Waynesboro.

Julie touched many lives with her smile and friendly nature. She had many hobbies and enjoyed doing crafts, scrapbooking, being with friends, and spending time with the love of her life, her son, Gage.

Services will be Friday, March 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with John Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be John Dixon, Daniel Allen, Dwight Thompson, II, Bryan Pope, Kyle Pope, Stan Pope, and Robert Gobbell.
