A Chandler teen was killed, Saturday night, when he fell from the top of the trunk of a vehicle in the Wildwood subdivision.

Seth Austin Bullock, 18, was pronounced dead at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas Department of Public Safety reports said. Bullock sustained a blow to the head when he made contact with the concrete surface.

Alisha Marie Mayer. 28, the driver of the 1999 Toyota Camry was booked into the Henderson County Jail on a charge of intoxication manslaughter. Mayer remained in custody, Monday, with bond set at $50,000 on the charge. The offense occurs when a person is intoxicated and by reason of that intoxication causes the death of another by accident or mistake. The offense is enhanced if it involves the use of a motor vehicle.

Law officers said the accident happened at about 11:40 p.m., Saturday. Mayer was backing out of a driveway and onto Springwood Street. According to reports, Bullock jumped onto the trunk of the Camry, hen slipped and hit the pavement.

Bullock was transported to the hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced dead by Smith County Justice of the Peace James Cowart. The accident was investigated by DPS Trooper Joshua Jenkins of the Athens office.
