The Tennessee Highway Patrol released the name of the woman killed in a crash on Highway 51 Thursday.

Shawna Roswell, 25, was a passenger in a car when they were hit by a tractor-trailer while turning onto the highway in Lauderdale County.

Roswell was killed in the accident. John Rose, the driver of the car she was riding in, was also injured in the crash.

According to the crash report, both Rose and Roswell were ejected from the car. Investigators report neither of them was wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was also hurt. 47-year-old Ken Freels was wearing his seatbelt, according to crash investigators.

A third vehicle, which was traveling behind the tractor-trailer, was also involved in the crash. The driver of that car was not injured.
