The California Highway Patrol confirms 21 year-old Blue Jay Yang of Banning was killed in Tuesday morning's crash caused by heavy rain.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 11:10 a.m. on the westbound side of the freeway at the Ramsey Street exit.
Witnesses said a Honda sedan driven by Yang, lost control and came to rest on the side of the road.
When Yang got out to check for damage, a truck skidded out of control, rolled and hit the driver, killing him instantly.
