Richard John Garber II, known to his family and friends as Ricky, was born July 18, 1984 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 at the age of 26.

Richard is survived by his wife of 5 years Laura Garber, daughter Madison Jade and sons Aidan Connor and Grayson Riley. Richard is also survived by his parents Pamela Walter, Richard J. Garber Sr. and Suzanne Garber. He was the beloved brother of Samantha Smith, Jessica Diamond and Jeremy Garber. Richard will be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as by his grandmothers Pauline Garber and Andrea Deaver and grandfather Franklyn Habingreither.

Richard attended Herbert Hoover Elementary and Maple Point Middle school in the Neshaminy School District. Afterward, Richard attended Pennsauken High School, graduating in 2003 before enrolling in the U.S. Navy where he studied Criminal Justice at Central Texas College. As an officer of the U.S. Navy, Richard served on the U.S.S. Nassau LH-4 from 2006 to 2010 before serving on the Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit 202 as a Logistics Specialist.

Richard was an avid reader, movie buff and enjoyed music, going to concerts and motorcycling. Possessing a witty sense of humor and charm, Richard always kept his family and friends laughing at his jokes. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral at 11am Saturday at the Faust Funeral Home Inc., 902 Bellevue Ave., Hulmeville, PA, where friends will be received Saturday morning at 9am until service time.
