WERTENBERGER, Timothy James, age 30, of Toronto, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the Trinity Medical Center West - Steubenville.

Born May 9, 1980, in Americus, Georgia, he is the son of Marion T. Wertenberger and Betty Jo (Bender) Ewing. He attended the Word of Life Church in Steubenville, and worked in construction as a laborer and as a cook.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, E.J. and Mattie Wertenberger, and his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Pauline Bender.

His survivors include two daughters, Miss Cassie Lana Wertenberger of Amsterdam, and Miss Justice Renee Wertenberger of Follansbee, W.Va.; a son Zachary Baringati of Amsterdam; his mother, Betty Jo Ewing and her husband Howard of Toronto; father, Marion T. Wertenberger of Wheeling. W.Va.; three brothers, Leo Kozloski of Orlando, Fla., John Ray Wood Jr. and his wife Dawn of Eaton, Ga., and Christopher Hightower of Leavittsburg, Ohio; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, Ohio 43964. (740) 537-1234/(800) 588-14 46.

A celebration service of Tim's life will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 8 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Josh Elliott officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
