Chelsea was a student at Pikes Peak Community College with plans to transfer to The Art Institute of Denver in the fall. She loved photography and planned to "travel the world" with her camera following graduation.

She moved to Colorado Springs with her family when she was 8 years old. She attended The Classical Academy and was home-schooled. She started taking ballet at age 3 and became an accomplished dancer. Dancing as well as horseback riding, art, and photography and her dogs as well as her family were her passions.
Chelsea was baptized at age 10 following attending "The Thorn" with her Mom and "grandma". Her baptism followed her commitment to God and Christ. She recently wrote in her journal, "I love God with all my heart".

Chelsea developed epilepsy around her 17th birthday and she suffered seizures since then. They would often incapacitate her but she preservered with her dreams. She died following a rare type of seizure that resulted in cardiac arrest. Chelsea was lovely, talented and greatly loved but most importantly, she was and always will be "our girl".
