Searchers who've been looking for a missing man since last Wednesday found a body in the Yocona River around 4 p.m. Monday.
Lafayette County Deputy Sheriff Jarrett Bundren said the body has not been positively identified but is believed to be that of Stephen Tyler Emerick, 19, who disappeared April 29 after leaving his work in Ecru.
Bundren said the body was found approximately a mile downstream from the County Road 387 bridge. Emerick's truck was found in woods near the bridge on May 1, with his keys, phone and wallet inside.
Jarrett said the body will likely undergo an autopsy on Tuesday.
