Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for KLBJ radio reporter Barbara McCarley.
McCarley covered the news in Austin for nearly fifteen years. She died in a traffic accident last week.
Family and friends filled the Austin Christian Fellowship Church to pay their respects and celebrate her life.
During the service Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo, coworkers, and lifelong friends remembered McCarley as a woman who lived life to the fullest and loved her family more than anything.
McCarley leaves behind a husband of 18 years and two children.
