Matthew Scott Colbert, 23, of Lubbock passed away on June 16, 2010 at his home.
Matthew was born July 3, 1986 in Lubbock and lived all of his life there. He graduated from Lubbock High School with honors in 2004 and attended Texas Tech and South Plains College. He was employed by Wal-Mart.
Matthew is survived by his parents, Charles and Beverly Colbert of Lubbock and by a sister, Stephanie Gutierrez, also of Lubbock.
Matthew had a great love of animals and cared deeply for persons less fortunate than him.
He was a Presbyterian.
