Lydia F. Henn, 33, of Pierceton, Ind., passed away at 1:53 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at home.

She was born Aug. 1, 1980, in Nappanee, Ind., to William and Gaylene (Snyder) Lloyd. She attended Warsaw, Nappanee and Elkhart schools.

Lydia was a commissioned up and coming artist and was passionate about painting. She loved animals – especially horses and dogs. Raising her children was important to her and she was loved by numerous friends. Her family and friends will greatly miss her.

She is survived by her mother: Gaylene Lloyd, Warsaw; her father: William Lloyd, Warsaw; four children: Zaya, Frances, Lucy and Oran Henn, at home; six sisters: Erika Ramiz, Nappanee; Shekinah Hostetler, Goshen, Ind.; Unique Lloyd, Indianapolis, Ind.; and IsRaya Arnold, Lauranona Lloyd and Welcome Lloyd, all of Warsaw; three brothers: Derrick Lloyd, Elkhart, Ind.; Moses Lloyd, Palestine, Ind.; and Ephraim Lloyd, Warsaw; her maternal grandmother: Phyllis Bynum, Wimberley, Texas; step maternal grandmother: Helen Snyder, Winchester, Ind.; her former husband: Steve Henn, Warsaw; and a special family friend: Margo Unsinger, Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Myron Ray Snyder; and paternal grandparents: Evan and Frieda Lloyd.

A carry-in dinner and time for sharing memories of Lydia will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. this Sunday, Sept. 1, at the American Legion Post in Warsaw, 301 N. Buffalo St. Family and friends are invited.


Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at Touch of Life Church, 2339 W. Old 30, Warsaw. The funeral service will be at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.
