Tyler J. Turcotte, 17, died unexpectedly Sept. 2, 2010. He was born Sept. 17, 1992, in Presque Isle. He was a junior at Jonesport-Beals High School and loved to play basketball with the Royals. He enjoyed being with his friends and family. He worked the summer on a lobster boat with his friend Joe Pereault. He was a big Red Sox fan, and he enjoyed playing video games with his friends online. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his mother, Michelle and his stepfather, Randy Norton Sr.; his loving brothers and sisters, Kristi, Randy Jr., Donna Jane and Raymond; paternal grandparents, Oscar and Ruth Norton; maternal grandparents, John and Donna Mills; great-grandmothers, "White Mem" and "Grammie Idella"; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also missed by his many friends, Jordan Reardon, Zack Fenton, Justin Alley, Colby Emereson, Luke Hunkler and many others. Friends are invited to visit with the family noon until the time of service 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5, at Jonesport-Beals High School gymnasium. Burial will be afterward at Greenwood Cemetery, Jonesport. Those wishing to remember Tyler in a special way may make contributions to a scholarship in his memory at Union Trust Bank, Jonesport.
