A dying mother's wish to take her 4-year-old daughter to Disney World is about to come true.

Savannah Cashman Morgan has Stage IV ovarian cancer and has been given just weeks to live.

"I want to do everything I can but my body just can't handle it anymore," she told News 2 in an interview last week. "The cancer is just so widespread there's just really nothing to do."

Before she dies, 19-year-old Savannah wants to take her daughter Hannah to Disney World.

"My wish is to take my four-year-old daughter to Disney World in the time that I have left!" she writes on a GoFundMe account set up in her honor.

Last week, her fundraising effort got a big boost from a group of fraternity men at Austin Peay State University.

Alphi Phi Alpha President Andrew Montgomery found out about Savannah only three days before presenting her with a check for $1,500.

"This hit home to me personally because I have a lot of friends at home and they are having kids," he told News 2.

Time may be short, but Savannah, who has composed more than a dozen cards for her daughter, for every birthday, graduation and even a card for her wedding day, says just being able to prepare her daughter with messages and memories is a gift in and of itself.

"A lot of people don't get that opportunity and I feel blessed just to have that opportunity," she said.
Savannah said while she has had time to make sure there will be somebody to take care of her daughter, she still wants to be sure there's something there to be remembered by.

"I want her to have something from me in the future when I'm not there so she doesn't think I've abandoned her you know," she said.

Savannah's GoFundMe account has already reached its $10,000 goal.
