Peyton Andrew James of Georgetown, TX passed away on October 13, 2014 at the age of 13. He was born on June 16, 2001 in Houston, TX to parents David James and Jacki Jordy James.
Peyton was an 8th grader at Forbes Middle School in Georgetown and had a passion for all things electronic, from playing video games to making videos for his own YouTube account. He also loved animals and planned to attend Texas A & M veterinarian school, even though his first love was to The University of Texas.
Peyton is survived by his mother, Jacki Jordy James, his father and step mother, David James and Lisa Hintz James, his step brother, Ian and his sister, Emmalee Grace. He also leaves his great grandmother, Evelyn Pratt, his "Great Bob," Bob Hess, his grandfather, Richard James; his aunts and uncles, Mike and Janet Newton, Tom and Jennifer Woods, Russell and Debbie Smith and Dawn James Park, his cousins Taylor Newton, Trevor Newton, Taryn Newton, Sophia Woods, and Elizabeth Smith. He will also be missed by his cherished dogs, Chuck and Toby.
The celebration of Peyton's life will be Sunday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Round Rock, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations in Peyton's name to Dell Children's Medical Center Austin, Texas Organ Sharing Association or the Williamson County Animal Shelter.
