Joplin police said Saturday that the Jasper County prosecutor's office has charged Jeffery L. Bruner of Joplin with felony murder and armed criminal action in 37-year-old Derek Moore's death. Moore died after he was shot Friday night as he left a Joplin movie theater.   read more...

A Bentonville woman was killed Thursday (June 13) in a motorcycle accident in Madison County. Paula L. Cameron, 33, was riding a Harley motorcycle north on Highway 23 south of Huntsville when she attempted to pass another vehicle and lost control of the motorcycle, according to an Arkansas State Police fatality accident report.   read more...
