A Florida woman has admitted shooting dead both her parents-in-law after they made 'negative' comments concerning their son's upcoming trial, which involved alleged sex acts with a minor.

Marisol Best shot and killed both her husband's parents, Virgil, 70, and 69-year-old Shirley Best, in their home, according to Hillsborough Country deputies.

It is believed that the trio became embroiled in a heated argument about her husband Robert's trial, which was scheduled in Polk County for the next day.
Robert stood accused of performing sex acts with a minor.

Deputies said she admitted getting very angry during the argument on November 11, getting a gun and shooting them both.

'She was upset about some of the negative comments they were making about their son, got angry and took out her anger on her in-laws,' said HCSO Col. Donna Lusczynski.

'We still have to prosecute this case in court so we're not going to give every detail of that conversation, but that is a shocking act. A normal person wouldn't respond that way.'

Before his court appearance the next day, the apparently unaware Robert went with Marisol to his parents' house to pray with them according to Fox13.
