Andrew Westegard was born on November 29, 1991, along with his brother Michael in St. Mary's Hospital. He attended Lodi Schools, graduating in 2010. Andrew was currently working at K&M Meister's Tree and Landscaping in tree removal – a job that he truly loved. Andrew had an infectious smile and a devilish spirt. He loved to laugh, tell a good story and play hard. Andrew enjoyed traveling with family and friends and some of his favorite trips were The Final Four in Indianapolis, The Rose Bowl and the most recent family trip to Pittsburg and Cincinnati. He enjoyed watching and playing sports including golf, soccer, softball and volleyball along with sharing some beers before, during and afterward. Andrew died on December 13, 2015 in a car accident. He is survived by his parents, Terry "Tut" and Natalie Westegard and his brother, Michael. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins along with the small town community of friends that he loved so dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reuben and Pauline Hartje and Ohmar and Leona Solem; his uncle, Byron Solem and his great grandmother, Irma Smith. Andrew died much too young – he will never be forgotten. He lived life to the fullest and his 24 years were filled with wonderful memories of adventures, laughter and fun. Much appreciation to the family and friends who have been so kind with calls, visits and messages. Celebration of Life will be held at DEKORRA LUTHERAN CHURCH, N3099 Smith Road, Poynette at 11 a.m., on Saturday, December 19, 2015 with Reverend Ryan Rouse presiding. Private Burial will be held at Dekorra Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the church and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated. Donations will be given to The Santa Project in Lodi. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
