Dana Hastings, 29 lost his heroic battle with addiction on November 6, 2016.
He was born on September 3, 1987 in Nashua, NH. He was the son of Allyson Charette Hastings, and the late Charles Hastings. Dana was a true New England sports fan.
In his younger years, he was MVP pitcher in Little League and Babe Ruth. Skating on the ice at the age of 3, Dana played for the Nashua Panthers and Kings traveling team. Although Dana suffered from his addiction, it did not define him as a person. He always had a smile and charm that could light up a room. Dana was a loving, caring soul with a heart of gold. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his niece and nephew, Brooklynn and Brayden. Dana's dream was to have children of his own someday.
Dana was the grandson of the late Alice Winn Labrie. Besides his loving mother, survivors include, two sisters, Lori and Ali, one brother, Andrew, grandfather, Robert Labrie and his wife Carol, niece and nephew Brooklynn and Brayden, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
