Our Sweet Heidi
Heidi Roberts Khoroujnikova
1968 – 2018

Heidi Khoroujnikova unexpectedly passed away in her sleep June 22, 2018 in South Jordan, Utah. She was a precious wife, loving mother, devoted daughter, wonderful sister, and best friend to all.

Heidi's generosity had no bounds. The time she devoted to serving others was immense, and she was quick to share her loving heart and home. Her unique ability to inspire lifted everyone around her, helping many who did not even know they needed it. Her powerful example will continue to spread among those whose lives she blessed.

Heidi's love extended to the animal community. The constant pitter patter of claws and paws echoed throughout the house from the posse of cats and dogs following her every move. They knew Heidi's abundant affection was always nearby.

A passion for traveling led her to share the most beautiful places in the world with her family and friends. Imperial Beach, California, was a cherished destination she visited often. Countless memories were made in Goblin Valley with close family and friends. She had a knack for planning unforgettable family vacations and camping trips. Heidi was her daughter's biggest cheerleader, following Kyra's Ultimate Frisbee teams all across the country. Her constant support left a huge impact on Kyra's many teammates, and she will forever be considered their team mom and number one fan.

Heidi was a gifted bargain hunter. A shopping maven extraordinaire, she thrilled in finding heavily discounted treasures for family and friends. It wasn't uncommon for her to knock on neighbors' doors offering inexpensive cases of butter, cinnamon rolls, or a slightly irregular pair of jeans.

Heidi's love, laughter, kindness, and joy will be forever missed.

Survived by her husband Mikhail Khoroujnikov, children Zach Needham and Kyra Khoroujnikova, mother Susan Napier, step-mother Nancy Roberts, and brothers Rick Roberts (Charisse) and Toby Roberts (Azra), nieces Ashley Roddom (Eric), Abbi Eckles(Ty) and nephew Logan Roberts. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Roberts.
