It is with great sadness that the family of Scott A. Plummer announces his passing, on March 24, 2019, at the age of 34 years. He was born September 5, 1984, in Bryan, Ohio, and resided in Waddell, Arizona. Scott was the son of Roy and Julie (Hillstrom) Plummer.

Scott was a college professor, where he always enjoyed a great philosophical debate with his students and peers. Prior to that, Scott was a journeyman electrician through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He received a master's degree in philosophy from The University of Arizona, and graduated from Defiance High School in 2002.

Scott played bass guitar in the band, Viraemia, and previously for Dead Man's Dream. He had a love for music and played many instruments. He also had a passion for woodworking and building custom guitars.

Scott is survived by his parents, Roy and Julie of Metuchen, N.J.; and his brother, Steven, and wife, Robin (Small) Plummer, and their children, Ayden, Colin and Brooklyn of Metuchen, N.J. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, David and Bonnie Hillstrom of Marion, Ohio.

Continuing his desire to be of help, Scott's body has been donated to scientific study.
