Before I start, I just wanted to say that it really is sad that she was killed over this...
but before getting sexual with anyone, I think she should have been completely honest about who she is before letting it go anywhere, because there are crazies in this world and you need to be safe and protect yourself.
That's just the world we live in, there are SO many cases of men getting extremely angry and violent whenever they find these things out...not everyone is accepting and not all guys will want to date someone that is transgendered.
Now this is no excuse for him to kill her...I just think she could have protected herself a little better.

yes she should have told him she was trans-gendered before she was sexual with him. But to be fair, the gay bars here are filled 90% straight guys on the down low, most are even married. She was probably used to these types of "straight men" who don't really care if shes a man or a woman. either way, there was no excuse for killing her, none. if it was justifiable to kill someone you hook up with for turning out to be someone other than what they portrayed themselves to be, i would have bodies galore in my crawlspace.

There have been a couple of cases very similar to this. One being the Gwen Araujo and the other escapes me. Gwen's story got a lot of publicity.  To bad this didn't forewarn Angie on the dangers of not being completely honest. The male ego in some men is in a category all it's own. This is no excuse in the least for him to murder her.

I feel really bad for Angie all she wanted was to be recognized for who she wanted to be, or whom she believed she was.  And it seems for the most part she was living her life as she wanted and happily.

This Jackass would have been smarter to just pick up his toys and go home, because prison is such a better option. That kind of rage is absolutely scary and I am glad he is off the streets. It is just sad that he took a young life.
