I think blunt force trauma needs to go after that fucktard.  Jeeze, why can't people just walk away when they're pissed.  I'm sure he felt like such a big man using his wife for a punching bag.  That shit just makes me sick.

I thought the same that this probably not the first time it happened either.  I understand that it's hard to up and leave someone you "love" but being smacked around should trump the whole love concept.

Yeah, the headline caught my eye.  I have a serious issue with wife beaters.  I had a boyfriend who liked to smack me.  I didn't hang around too long.  He actually pushed me out of a moving pickup.

I'm sure the lawyer will try to go the "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder" route due to the former soldier angle.  I think that battle probably causes a soldier to be quite de-sensitized to death and brutality.  But regardless, this bastard needs to be shot.

she's not naive .. (I'm her cousin by the way ..) she's the type that would speak her mind and wouldnt let any guy tie her down or hold her back .. I don't know too much about the incident myself yet since I live in Ca. but from what I've heard from her letters to her sister in the P.I .. she had been thinking about divorce especially after she noticed him changing into a different person .. "more mean each day" from what i heard from my mom .. but im pretty sure the violence was a first and very unexpected .. a newspaper mentioned that it happened a little while after they returned from a club (it was her birthday and they were arguing about their "future" .. i'm guessing she pointed out what she noticed and hinted divorce maybe  .. and maybe he freaked out and pulled one of those "if i can't have you no one will" type things .. all i know is that's some cowardly shit .. she's much shorter and smaller than me (i'm only 5'2") .. and hes a big guy .. not to mention a heartless bitch .. i came across his myspace page and noticed his last login was the morning she died .. what kinda of person logs onto myspace while your loved one is dying .. well .. before i end up venting off my anger into a 10 page post, i'll end this by saying it again .. she's not naive .. she was already trying to get outta the relationship but overall .. I think she sealed her fate the day she married him .. he was obviously one of those assholes that have that "if i can't have you no one can" mentality ..

Wow, Thanks for sharing and very sorry for your loss. It's too bad that she wasn't able to get away from him before this happened. I bet seeing him get meaner each day was bad enough then to have him snap and actually beat her to death. I hope he gets what he deserves, which I suppose he will in the end...but in the meantime I hope justice is served for your cousin and he has a long unpleasant life in jail.

Wow, what a story, so sorry for your loss. Stories like this are scary because it almost feels like it could happen to any of us, I'm sure she absolutely never would have expected him to do this (quite possibly HE never thought he could do this either) but yet it happened. So sad.

I am very sorry for your loss.  It should have been you comforting her on the untimely death of her husband due to a run away garbage truck.

Alright Im gonna clear some shit up.....I'm Mario, aka Kombat Mario on Myspace....im Eddy's Best Friend and I knew him better than any other friend, he trusted me to death...I got him into the Army in 98 and we got out at the the same time, but I came back into the Army in 2005, I had a hard time becoming a civilian again....I just came back from Afghanistan yesterday and found out this fucked up NEWS, I have seen some really fucked up shit, but this brutal shit Eddy has done is by far the most fucked up thing I have ever heard a super close friend do....Teris was a sweetheart....


You know what, I was gonna say alot more about Eddy and his wife...but fuck that, just talking about this shit is really getting to me..I don't really know what to think...

OK let me get this out...I don't know how close you actually were to Teris (the chick that is claming to be her cousin)...but Eddy was not big, he was pretty much her height...he was 5'2" or 5'3", not a big guy at all.....Im not talking shit, just the truth.....
